Holidays in France without weekly markets are like holidays without sun. The fragrances and the colourfulness, the diversity of the offered goods are simply fascinating. Musicians and pantomimes enrich the buzz of activity on many markets. One of the most beautiful markets takes place every Saturday in Uzes (see pictures). Besides there is a weekly market in every bigger town and in the closer surrounding area these are the markets of Vallon Pont d’Arc on Thursdays and Barjac and Ruoms on Fridays.
